2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (or 1 active dry yeast packet)

In a 2-cup liquid measuring cup, measure 1/3 cup oil and add eggs. Then, fill with warm water up to 2 cups liquid plus 2 tablespoons additional water.
Pour all liquid ingredients into bread maker, then add bread mix and yeast.
Start machine and scrape down sides and corners of pan while the dough is mixing.
After baking, remove from pan and let cool before slicing.
HIGH ALTITUDE: Use 2 cups total liquid.
**For egg allergies…use an egg replacer. In our home, we use EnerG Egg Replacer with perfect results. It’s expensive to buy the box, but it lasts FOREVER. We use it in all recipes that call for eggs with consistent results.
I need a conversion for baking in the oven. Anyone?
I wish I could help!!! Maybe someone else can chime in! I do think it’s simple. I just have never done it.
Yes, use the oven baking recipe on the back of the Pamela’s Bread Mix package.
Thank you Nicole! I really appreciate you sharing this. I never noticed that on the packaging!
I need to know how to make in oven and where do i buy the mix
Hi Vicki! Thanks for posting your question. I buy my Pamela’s mix at any grocery store in my city. I would just call ahead to make sure that they have it. There are oven instructions on the outside of the package.
What am I missing about it being “egg free” yet using 3 eggs?
The recipe on the bag calls for 3 eggs, but we use the Egg Replacer that’s mentioned and shown toward the bottom of the blog in place of those eggs. Thanks for asking!
